The nurses were helpful and gave good advice, always consulting me and taking my feelings into account. Very good care.
Very friendly and given very good advice. Nothing to be improved.
Over the past few years everyone was very helpful with my problem. Hopefully this will continue.
Everything ok.
Friendly, personable staff who explained everything fully and finally she'd same light on condition.
Very helpful.
Today was the most information I've received since seeing Kim Wilcox back at Cotswold care when I first began Lymphoedema treatment.
Nurse spoke of Kinesiology another treatment good for me.
Being car parking is difficult. Advice should be given for first visit.
- Extremely relaxed.
- Able to talk to other patients.
- The Chemo nurses were far more relaxed in this environment than I observed at Cheltenham Oncology Unit.
- The mobile unit driver/Chemo assistant takes an active part in dealing with the patients needs/settling patients in. Sterilizing/duties with the nurses etc.
- My treatment period passed by very quick due to being able to chat to patients and staff and so friendly.
- Seems strange to say I enjoyed it.
My elderly mother went here after a fall, head wound, substantial blood loss. A and E were popping at the seams, so over worked and crowded. Despite this staff triaged effectively and got round to all in more or less the right order in the end. Acute admissions seemed OK. Urgent medical care was good and effective. However...Ward 4b not so good - general/old age ward. Staff seemed wary of any conversation. I found out after that established and publicised procedures were ignored: my mum was not identified as having dementia, though I mentioned it every time, as a result communication with me was tardy, inaccurate, frustrating and confusing. Post discharge arrangements were made with my mum without me (her carer, next-of-kin and attorney) - these were considered by our GP to be completely inappropriate and just led to more stress and wasted energy after we got home. My mum came out of this hospital with infected phlebitis from the IV line. Completely avoidable. I told the nurse several times over three days it didn't look right and was ignored. I would avoid this hospital if I could.
Very convenient to be able to use mobile - easier travelling and a very happy unit. Very relaxed and very well looked after.
